Gerit Quealy

Gerit Quealy is an American writer, editor, and actor. She is known for her work as a Shakespearean scholar and has contributed to various publications, including The New York Times, particularly the Vows column and the Style desk.

Quealy is the co-author of Wedding Flowers (2003) and Wedding Cakes and Flowers (2006), and served as an editor for Fifty Things to Do When You Turn Fifty (2005). Besides her writing and editorial endeavors, Gerit Quealy was formerly a model with Wilhelmina and an associate editor of Flair magazine.

Her acting credentials include her role as Jacqueline Dubujak Novak on the ABC daytime serial Ryan's Hope from 1983 to 1985 and briefly in 1987.
