Genevieve Cogman is a British author renowned for her contributions to fantasy literature and role-playing games. She is best known for her series, The Invisible Library, which has captivated readers with its imaginative storyline and multidimensional settings.

Genevieve's love for literature began at an early age with the works of Tolkien and Sherlock Holmes. Academically, she holds an MSc in Statistics with Medical Applications, which she has applied in various professional roles such as a clinical coder, data analyst, and classifications specialist.

Prior to her debut novel, The Invisible Library, Genevieve worked as a freelance writer for several role-playing game companies. Her notable projects include contributions to GURPS Vorkosigan, the In Nomine role-playing game line for Steve Jackson Games, and the Exalted and Orpheus lines for White Wolf Publishing. She also contributed to the Dresden Files RPG for Evil Hat Productions.
