Gail Tsukiyama is an American novelist born in San Francisco, California, USA. She pursued her education at San Francisco State University, where she earned both her Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Arts (MA) degrees.
Born to a Chinese mother and a Japanese father, Tsukiyama's unique heritage deeply influences her storytelling. Her novels often explore themes of cultural identity, family, and human connections.
