Gabriel Hernández Walta is a distinguished artist in the realm of comics and illustration. With a Master's of Fine Arts under his belt, he initially poured his talents into children's illustration and painting. His career took a pivotal turn in 2002, following his triumph at the Spanish Injuve awards, propelling him into the world of comics.
Walta's comic book journey commenced with publisher IDW, where he brought to life The Thief of Always, an adaptation of Clive Barker's novel. His collaborative efforts with author El Torres bore fruit in the form of The Veil and The Suicide Forest, acclaimed works published by Dibbuks in Spanish and Europe Comics in English. His artistic prowess has also graced the pages of The Werewolf of Fever Swamp for Scholastic, and he's contributed to Marvel Comics with titles such as New Mutants and X-Men, as well as crafting short stories for DC Comics.
