Francis Chan is an American Protestant author, teacher, and preacher. He is best known as the former teaching pastor of the nondenominational Cornerstone Community Church, an Evangelical church in Simi Valley, California, which he founded in 1994.

In 2004, he founded Eternity Bible College, where he served as the early chancellor until 2010. Chan has been active in Christian and social justice communities, serving as a board member for organizations like Children's Hunger Fund and Gospel for Asia.

He has authored and co-authored numerous books, including the New York Times bestseller Crazy Love. Additionally, Chan has worked as an ambassador for Care for Children.
