Emily Carroll, also known as E.M. Carroll, is a Canadian comics author born in June 1983 in London, Ontario. Carroll began their career in comics in 2010, gaining widespread attention with their horror webcomic, His Face All Red, which went viral around Halloween of that year.

Since then, Carroll has published several books, contributed to various comics anthologies, and provided illustrations for other works. Their artistic talent has earned them several prestigious awards, including an Ignatz Award and two Eisner Awards. Emily Carroll is married to fellow Canadian artist, Kate Craig. Carroll's works now appear under the initials E.M. Carroll.
