Elizabeth Fiona Knox is a distinguished New Zealand writer born on 15 February 1959. She has written numerous works across various genres, including novels for both adults and teenagers, autobiographical novellas, and essays.
Among her acclaimed works is The Vintner's Luck (1998), which has received several awards, been translated into ten languages, and adapted into a film by Niki Caro in 2009. Knox is also recognized for her young adult fantasy series, Dreamhunter Duet.
Her recent novels include Mortal Fire, Wake (both released in 2013), and The Absolute Book (published in 2019).
