Elin Hilderbrand

Elin Hilderbrand is an American writer primarily known for her romance novels. Born on July 17, 1969, she has made a name for herself with her books that are often set in and around the beautiful island of Nantucket, where she resides. In 2019, New York magazine referred to her as "the queen of beach reads" for her compelling and engaging storytelling.

Hilderbrand grew up in Collegeville, Pennsylvania and spent a considerable amount of time traveling before making Nantucket her permanent home. This scenic island has inspired and served as the backdrop for many of her novels. She is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and honed her writing skills at the graduate fiction workshop at the University of Iowa.
