Edward Kelsey Moore

Edward Kelsey Moore is a professional cellist and author based in Chicago. During his high school years and onward into college, Moore experimented with writing short stories. As he completed his education, he set writing aside to focus on building a career in music.

Many years later, as a member of a string quartet, Moore was hired to perform at a reception for the winners of a local writing contest. As he played background music, Moore considered: "I could have sent in a story..." This inspiring event reignited his passion for writing, and within a few weeks, he began writing again.

His short fiction has been published in numerous literary magazines, including Indiana Review, African American Review, and Inkwell.
