Edward William Bloor is an American novelist and playwright, best known for Tangerine and London Calling. Born on October 12, 1950, in Trenton, NJ, he is the son of Edward William and Mary (Cowley) Bloor. He married Pamela Dixon, a teacher, on August 4, 1984, and is a father to a daughter and a son.
Bloor graduated with a B.A. from Fordham University in 1973. He worked as an English teacher in Florida public high schools from 1983 to 1986, and later became a senior editor at Harcourt Brace School Publishers in Orlando, FL, starting in 1986.
His notable works include Tangerine (1997), Crusader (1999), Story Time (2004), London Calling (2006), and Taken (2007). Some of these have been adapted into audiobooks.
