Donna K. Childree is an author originally from the deep south of the United States. She currently resides happily in the Midwest, where she dedicates her time to writing, creating art, and spending time with her family.

A few years back, Donna began a writing partnership with her son, Mike Hopper. Together, they authored their first book, The Wayward Gifted: Broken Point, a coming-of-age novel filled with angst and adventure, appealing to both adolescents and adults. The dynamic duo is actively working on the second book in The Wayward Gifted Series: Grey's Case, which was released on Thanksgiving Day 2013.
