Diane Chamberlain is an American author renowned for her work in adult fiction. She is a New York Times, USA Today, and Sunday Times bestselling author, with over 30 novels published in more than twenty languages.

Diane was born and raised in Plainfield, New Jersey. Her passion for storytelling began early, influenced by her father, a school principal, who provided her with a steady stream of books. Although she wrote many small 'books' as a child, it wasn't until her early thirties that she seriously ventured into fiction writing. The inspiration struck during a delayed doctor's appointment, armed only with a pad, a pen, and an idea. She was instantly captivated by the craft.

In addition to her writing career, Diane has an academic background in clinical social work, having earned her master's degree from San Diego State University. Before dedicating herself fully to writing, she worked as a hospital social worker. Her experiences have undoubtedly enriched the depth and emotional resonance of her narratives.
