Diana Peterfreund is an acclaimed American author recognized for her contributions to literature across various age groups. Diana's short stories and non-fiction essays about popular children's literature have also garnered critical acclaim.

She also engages with her readers, discussing future works and the pronunciation of her last name, which she confirms as "Peter-froind" though "Peter-friend" is also widely accepted.
