Desmond Cole is a Canadian journalist, activist, author, and broadcaster based in Toronto, Ontario. Known for his compelling work on issues of police carding and racial discrimination, Cole has been a prominent voice in the fight against systemic racism. His writing credits span across various prestigious publications including The Walrus, NOW Magazine, Torontoist, The Tyee, Toronto Life, and BuzzFeed.
His advocacy has not only garnered national media attention but also led to a consequential documentary by CBC Television titled The Skin We're In.
