D.C. Talk is a prominent Christian music group that was formed in 1987 by Toby McKeehan, Michael Tait, and Kevin Max Smith. They gained immense popularity throughout the 1990s, becoming one of the most celebrated bands of the decade.
The band released five studio albums: DC Talk (1989), Nu Thang (1990), Free at Last (1992), Jesus Freak (1995), Supernatural (1998), and Solo (2001).
In 2000, the group unofficially disbanded as each member pursued solo projects. Since then, D.C. Talk has been on an indefinite hiatus, without officially breaking up or reuniting.
