Christopher Darlington Morley was an American journalist, novelist, essayist, and poet. Born on May 5, 1890, he made significant contributions to American literature through his work as a writer and editor. Morley founded the Saturday Review and was its editor from 1924 to 1940. His work includes popular novels and he was known for his stage productions and college lectures.
