Cherie Priest is an American novelist and blogger known for her diverse range of works. She was born on July 30, 1975, and currently resides in Seattle, Washington. Priest has authored approximately thirty books and novellas, showcasing her talent in various genres including modern gothic, mystery, horror, and steampunk.

Her recent works include the modern gothics It Was Her House First, The Drowning House, and Cinderwich.
