Channelle Desamours is an author and a dedicated high school science teacher. Residing just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, she teaches at a STEM academy, where her students continuously motivate and challenge her, providing both inspiration and laughter.
Channelle spent many years coaching lacrosse and even had a stint at Zoo Atlanta, where she educated children about wildlife conservation and handled a variety of critters, from opossums to juvenile American alligators. She holds a BA in biology from Agnes Scott College and an MS in biological sciences from Clemson University.
When sheβs not napping to recover from her five a.m. writing sessions, Channelle enjoys building tiny homes on The Sims 4 and cheering for Atlanta United at soccer matches. Her debut novel, NEEDY LITTLE THINGS, is forthcoming from Wednesday Books/Macmillan in the US and Bloomsbury in the UK.
Beyond her professional life, she delights in listening to audiobooks, caring for her house plants, and plotting twisty novels with a touch of magic.
