Carolyn Brown

Carolyn Brown is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author known for her charming and heartwarming novels. Born in Texas and raised in southern Oklahoma, she now resides in Davis, Oklahoma, a quaint town with a population of fewer than three thousand people. Here, everyone knows each other, and the local newspaper keeps the community updated.

Her writing career is driven by the voices of quirky characters in her head, each telling their own unique story. A plaque in her office humorously states, "I know the voices are not real but they have such great ideas," which serves as her inspiration and muse.

Married for nearly half a century to a retired English teacher affectionately known as Mr. B, Carolyn credits him as her strongest supporter, even if he doesn’t read her books before publication. Together, they have three adult children and several grandchildren.

When not writing, Carolyn enjoys sitting in her backyard, observing her two tomcats valiantly defending the yard against "wicked varmints" such as crickets, spiders, and blue jays. Her works are celebrated not only in the US but also in the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
