Carol Lynch Williams is an acclaimed author of Young Adult and Middle Grade novels. She is known for her engaging storytelling and ability to connect with younger audiences. Williams is the conference director for the Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers (WIFYR) conference and serves as a professor of creative writing at Brigham Young University (BYU).
Williams graduated in 2008 from Vermont College of Fine Arts with a degree in Writing for Children and Young Adults. She is the author of more than 30 books for middle grade and young adult readers. Her notable novels include The Chosen One, Never that Far, Messenger, and Never Said. Her most recent book is the novelization of the movie Once I Was a Beehive.
Besides her writing career, Williams is a mentor for aspiring writers who want to write for kids and teens. She considers her five daughters her best creative effort.
