Brock Thoene, pronounced Tay-nee, was born in 1952. He is part of a renowned American husband-and-wife duo, alongside Bodie Thoene, with whom he has authored over 75 works of historical fiction.

Their collaborative works have achieved remarkable success, with over 35 million copies sold in more than 20 languages. They have received numerous accolades, including eight Gold Medallion Awards.
