Bridget Collins

Bridget Collins, born in 1981 in Kent, England, is a British author known for her works of adult and young adult fiction. She earned a degree in English from King's College, Cambridge, and later trained as an actor at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. During her breaks from acting, she began working on her first novel.

Writing under the name B. R. Collins, she has authored seven young adult titles. Her debut novel, The Traitor Game, won the Branford Boase Award in 2009. She transitioned to adult fiction with her first adult novel published in 2019, which received acclaim and was shortlisted for the Waterstones Book of the Year.
