Bodie Thoene (pronounced Tay-nee) is an American author, renowned for her historical fiction works, often written in collaboration with her husband, Brock Thoene. Together, they have authored more than 75 books, with over 35 million copies sold in more than 20 languages.
Bodie began her writing career as a teenage journalist for her local newspaper. Her byline has appeared in prestigious periodicals such as U.S. News and World Report, The American West, and The Saturday Evening Post. She also worked for John Wayneβs Batjac Productions and ABC Circle Films as a writer and researcher. John Wayne described her as "a writer with talent that captures the people and the times!"
She holds degrees in journalism and communications.
