Blake Mycoskie is an American entrepreneur, author, and philanthropist. He is widely recognized as the founder of TOMS Shoes and the co-creator of the Madefor program.
Mycoskie pioneered the innovative One for One business model, which ensures that a person in need benefits from every product sold. This simple idea has blossomed into a global movement. Since its inception in 2006, TOMS Shoes has gifted over 35 million pairs of shoes to children worldwide. Additionally, TOMS Eyewear has helped restore sight to over 250,000 individuals since its launch in 2011.
In 2014, the TOMS Roasting Company was established with a mission to provide clean water to developing communities through the sale of premium coffee.
The inspiration for TOMS began during Mycoskie's travels in Argentina in 2006, where he witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by children living without shoes.
