Bill O'Reilly is a prominent American television host, radio personality, writer, and conservative columnist. His broadcasting and publishing success is unparalleled, with a career spanning over 42 years.

The O'Reilly Factor, the iconic program he anchored, was the highest-rated cable news broadcast for sixteen consecutive years. O'Reilly has also authored 12 number-one ranked non-fiction books, including the historical "Killing" series, with 17 million copies in print.

Throughout the late 1970s and 1980s, O'Reilly worked for various local stations and major networks such as CBS News and ABC News. He hosted Inside Edition from 1989 to 1995 before joining Fox News Channel in 1996, where he presented The O'Reilly Factor until 2017. He also hosted The Radio Factor from 2002 to 2009.

However, his career faced controversy in 2017 when a New York Times investigation revealed that he and Fox News had paid $13 million in settlements for sexual harassment claims.
