Beth Revis is an American author of fantasy and science fiction, mainly for the young adult audience. She is best known for the Across the Universe trilogy, which consists of the novels Across the Universe, A Million Suns and Shades of Earth. In addition to her literature career, she has worked as a former English teacher. Her career in writing began in 2011 and she continues to contribute to the young adult genre.

Revis resides in North Carolina. Outside of writing, she has a passion for chocolate, travel, and expresses a preference for puppies over people. She lives in rural North Carolina with her family, which includes her husband, her son, and two very large puppies.
