Beth Hilgartner

Beth Hilgartner is an American author known for publishing ten books. She has had a diverse career, also serving as an Episcopal priest (now retired), and is a talented musician specializing in recorders and voice. In addition, she works as a musical editor, focusing on modern performing editions of relatively unknown 17th and 18th-century composers. Beyond her literary and musical pursuits, Beth is an equestrian involved in dressage, an accomplished knitter, and an avid gardener.

After a prolonged absence from the literary scene, she returns with her work, The Ivory Mask, which she emphasizes is not the first book in a series. Beth resides in Vermont with her husband of 45 years, their two cats, Lewis and Clark, and her elderly dressage horse, Solace.
