Aurora Whittet started out as a wild red-haired girl in Minnesota, dreaming up stories for her friends to read. She is the author of the Bloodmark Saga trilogy, which includes Bloodmark, Bloodrealms, and Bloodmoon. In addition to her work for young adults, she has ventured into children's literature with books such as Mama’s Knight: A Cancer Story of Love—inspired by her own mother who lost her battle with cancer—and the award-winning How to Turn Your Mom into a Monster.

Aurora is not only an author but also a national award-winning graphic designer and a trained birth doula. She lives with her family in Minnesota.
