Anthony Bruce Summers (born 21 December 1942) is an Irish author known for his investigative non-fiction work. He is a Pulitzer Prize Finalist and has penned ten non-fiction books throughout his career.
Summers began his career with the BBC in current affairs coverage, serving as a producer and later as an assistant editor for the long-running investigative documentary series Panorama. His first book was published in 1976.
His bestselling books include Not in Your Lifetime, about the assassination of John F. Kennedy; Official & Confidential: The Secret Life of J. Edgar Hoover; and The Eleventh Day, on the 9/11 attacks, which was a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for History.
