Anne Bishop

Anne Bishop is an American fantasy writer, best known for her acclaimed series, the Black Jewels. She was awarded the Crawford Award in 2000 for the first three books in this series, often referred to as the Black Jewels Trilogy: Daughter of the Blood, Heir to the Shadows, and Queen of the Darkness.

Anne Bishop resides in upstate New York. Beyond her storytelling, she indulges in gardening, music, and crafting dark, romantic stories. Over the years, she has authored more than twenty novels. Her more recent work includes a new series, the Others, which blends urban fantasy with a unique twist.
