Anna Godbersen is an American writer, born on April 10, 1980, in Berkeley, California. She is best known for her debut series The Luxe, with the first book of the series also titled The Luxe. Her writing captures the essence of historical fiction blended with youthful drama.

Godbersen was educated at Barnard College and currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband. Her other notable work includes the series Bright Young Things, whose first book was released on October 12, 2010.
