Amy Plum

Amy Plum is an internationally bestselling author known for her young adult fiction. Born in 1967, she is American-born but resides in France. She is best known for her Die for Me series, which is a supernatural romance set in Paris. This series includes three novels: Die for Me, Until I Die, and If I Should Die, as well as three novellas: Die for Her, Die Once More, and To Die For.

Amy Plum's books have been translated into thirteen languages. Her other works include the After the End duology, an action-adventure faux-post-apocalyptic road trip, and the Dreamfall duology, which is a psychological thriller.

Raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Plum ventured to Chicago, Paris, London, and New York before settling in Paris. An art historian by training, she pursued an M.A. in Medieval Art History in London, specializing in Early Sienese Painting. She once worked in the art and antiques world in New York but left her job as an English professor at Tours University to write full-time.

Amy lives in Paris with her two children and her black Labrador, Oberon. She enjoys the works of Edward Gorey, Maira Kalman, David Sedaris, and Amadeo Modigliani.
