Amity Gaige is an American novelist, born in 1972, renowned for her literary contributions through acclaimed works such as O My Darling, The Folded World, Schroder, and Sea Wife. Her notable achievements include being a 2016 Guggenheim Fellow in Fiction.
Gaige's novel Schroder was shortlisted for the Folio Prize in 2014 and has been published in eighteen countries. It was celebrated as one of the best books of 2013 by several prestigious publications and organizations, including The New York Times Book Review, The Huffington Post, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Kirkus Reviews, and more.
She has been honored with numerous awards, such as the Foreword Book of the Year Award in 2007.
