Amanda Grange

Amanda Grange is a prolific British author, renowned for her creative retellings of classic literature from the perspectives of beloved characters. Born in Yorkshire, her teenage years were heavily influenced by the works of Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer, nurturing a lifelong passion for literature. Amanda pursued her academic interests in music at Nottingham University, balancing her studies with her love for reading.

She has authored twenty-five novels, including six retellings of Jane Austen's work, offering fresh insights by narrating events from the heroes' perspectives. In addition to her Austen-inspired novels, Amanda has ventured into other genres, writing under different pseudonyms. As Eleanor Tyler, she penned Murder at Whitegates Manor, a Regency cozy crime murder mystery, and as Amy Watson, she wrote The Rake, a light-hearted Regency romance.

Amanda Grange's work has been well-received, with Woman magazine describing Mr Darcy's Diary as "lots of fun, this is the tale behind the alpha male," while The Washington Post praised Mr Knightley's Diary for its "affectionate" storytelling.
