Alexandra Adornetto is an Australian actress and author known for her captivating works for children and young adults. Born on April 18, 1992, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, she is the only child of an English Teacher and a Drama Teacher. Adornetto attended several schools, including MacRobertson Girls' High School, Ruyton Girls' School, and Eltham College.
Her passion for stories began at a young age, and she was inspired by J.M. Barrieβs Peter Pan to start writing children's novels when she was just 13. At 14, she sold her first novel to HarperCollins Publishers, which also acquired two more novels in The Strangest Adventures series.
Adornetto is best known for notable works such as The Strangest Adventures series, Halo trilogy, and The Ghost House Saga. The Halo series, her first YA fantasy romance, marks her international debut. In 2006, she won the State Legacy Public Speaking competition.
She later relocated to Oxford, Mississippi, where she continues to write and inspire young readers around the world.
