Alex Sanchez is an acclaimed American author, best known for his contributions to teen literature.

He is the author of the Rainbow Boys trilogy, along with other significant works such as The God Box, Getting It, and the Lambda Award-winning middle-grade novel So Hard to Say. His novel, Bait, was honored with the Florida Book Award Gold Medal for YA fiction.

Alex earned his master’s degree in guidance and counseling from Old Dominion University and dedicated many years to working as a youth and family counselor.

His recent work includes a graphic novel from DC Comics, You Brought Me the Ocean.
