Alethea Kontis is an American writer born on January 11, 1976. She is well known for her work in Teen & Young Adult Books, picture books, and speculative fiction, primarily for children. Besides being an author, she is also an essayist and a storyteller.
Her unique writing style has earned her descriptions such as "A veritable badass fairy princess" by Jim Butcher, and "The faerie princess of the worlds of weird" by Jonathan Maberry. Jim C.
