Adrian Alphona

Adrian Alphona is a renowned Canadian comic book artist, prominently known for his significant contributions to Marvel Comics. He gained widespread acclaim for co-creating the series Runaways with writer Brian K. Vaughan. Despite being set to pencil the second volume of Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, Alphona made the decision to step away from the comic scene, providing only cover art for the series while Craig Rousseau assumed the role of primary artist.

After a hiatus, Alphona made a triumphant return to the comic book industry in June 2009, showcasing his artistic talent in the Captain Britain and MI: 13 annual. His journey continued as he contributed to the series Uncanny X-Force, collaborating with artist Ron Garney. In a significant move, Marvel Comics launched the monthly series Ms. Marvel in August 2013, with Alphona's artistry complementing G. Willow Wilson's writing.
