Adib Khorram is an Iranian-American author who specializes in young adult fiction. He is most renowned for his books Darius the Great is Not Okay, Darius the Great Deserves Better, and Kiss & Tell.

His debut novel, DARIUS THE GREAT IS NOT OKAY, has received numerous accolades, including the William C. Morris Debut Award, the Asian/Pacific American Award for Young Adult Literature, and a Boston Globe–Horn Book Honor. The sequel, DARIUS THE GREAT DESERVES BETTER, earned three starred reviews, was an Indie Bestseller, and was awarded a Stonewall Honor.

Adib Khorram also ventured into picture books, with his debut SEVEN SPECIAL SOMETHINGS: A NOWRUZ STORY released in 2021.

When he is not writing, Khorram enjoys learning to do a Lutz jump, practicing handstands, or steeping a cup of oolong tea. He resides in Kansas City, Missouri, where people don’t usually talk about themselves in the third person.
