Abigail Haas, also known as Abby McDonald, is a British author who has penned numerous novels. She was born in England and grew up in Sussex, later studying Politics, Philosophy & Economics at Oxford University. Abigail currently resides in Los Angeles.

Under her real name and several pen names including Abby McDonald and Melody Grace, she has established a name for herself in the literary world. Her works include twelve novels, with her Beachwood Bay series achieving USA Today and international bestseller status before she revealed her identity as the author.

Abigail has written both adult and young adult novels, with notable works such as the YA thriller Dangerous Girls. Besides her novels, she is a staff writer for the Netflix series Bridgerton and has written the cult YA thriller I’ll Never Tell (Simon & Schuster) and The Oxford Inheritance (William Morrow).

Writing as Melody Grace, she has become a self-publishing romance sensation, appearing on the USA Today Bestseller list twelve times and selling over two million books worldwide. Her feature Jingle Bell Heist is in development with Ace Entertainment and was featured on the 2022 Black List.
