Aiden Wilson Tozer was an influential American Christian pastor, author, magazine editor, and spiritual mentor, born on April 21, 1897, in rural Pennsylvania. He began his spiritual journey at the age of 17 after hearing a street preacher.

Tozer became associated with the Christian & Missionary Alliance denomination, serving for over four decades. Known for his deep devotion to God, Tozer focused on three main tasks throughout his ministry: prayer, study, and proclamation.
