Max Porter

Max Porter is a celebrated English author known for his innovative and emotive storytelling. His first novel, Grief Is the Thing with Feathers, received critical acclaim, winning prestigious awards such as the Sunday Times/Peter, Fraser + Dunlop Young Writer of the Year, the International Dylan Thomas Prize, the Europese Literatuurprijs, and the BAMB Readers’ Award. The novel was also shortlisted for the Guardian First Book Award and the Goldsmiths Prize. It has been sold in twenty-nine territories worldwide.

The stage adaptation of Grief Is the Thing with Feathers, directed by Enda Walsh and starring Cillian Murphy, debuted in Dublin in March 2018 under the production of Complicité and Wayward.
